These last weeks have been very tired for me, my work is absorbing me a lot, I start working from 7 am until 9 pm, I return home with physical and mental fatigue, a lot of stress, and I am grateful to the wife that I have, patient and loving It is becoming very difficult for me to study. This week I learned a lot and when I saw the video of Elder Holland, I cried, I cried a lot. The words of Elder Holland encouraged my soul, I had the desire not to give up, to move on, no matter how tired I am, I do not have to give up. I know that all sacrifice and effort has its reward. I like this quote : i t used to discourage me that girls younger than I were married, but now, having learned what I’ve learned from my education and especially from my mission, I am thrilled with the direction, opportunities, and privileges the Lord has given me to grow. Each week it is a privilege to be able to learn, the measure of knowledge acquired each week is more and more and more. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People has become so representative of increasing personal effectiveness that it has almost become a cliché, even to the point where it is derided as representative of the inauthenticity and shallowness of many who claim to practice it. I found myself oddly embarrassed to be seen reading this book on the subway – lest someone attribute that same character to me. Habit 1: Be Proactive The author defines proactivity (and the paradigm shift that comes with it) as exercising your freedom to choose self-awareness, imagination, conscience, or independent will in between stimulus and response. These 3 days that have passed, I was able to learn a lot and receive the necessary inspiration for my life and my family. and I would like to cover some points learned. Wences Cesares shares his three most important insights:   1) Entrepreneurship is a calling that chooses us–it is inescapable.   2) Time is our most valuable asset.   3) Entrepreneurs create the most value by doing the same thing for a very long time. And the words of Steve Blank: "How can one balance family life with the demands of the start-up?" "A Hero's Journey" was a great talk! It made me realize that we often forget about why we want to be successful and how much we depend on God's help. He is the one who wants us to be successful, he is the reason why we will become successful. His comment: "Being rich is spending less than you make, to have time you can use" stuck with me a lot. We often focus on the money income, rather than money as a means.  I learned from the videos and readings this week that I need to focus on my present and keep my future in mind as well. What is happening in my life now cannot be repeated, especially with my first son being so young and constantly learning and growing into a young boy. I need to plan for our future, but keep my priorities straight and not let work or school take over those important times. I am not the master of my destiny, but it is my destiny and I will not miss out on it where ever I am going in life so I need to trust in the Lord.   W...

The Lord has said, “Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great” ( D&C 64:33 ). I am amazed when I think of the perfect example that the Lord  Jesus Christ  provides in all aspects of our existence. If we were to meet him, we would find him very pleasant and perfect in all his relationships and dealings with each individual. Patience and long suffering, considered by some to be unimportant in this life, are some of the greatest attributes we can develop when dealing with our fellowmen. This lesson helps me to be able to apply the virtue of integrity, no matter the circumstance, place or time. Money is not bad, the bad thing is being able to love money above all things. Our heavenly father does not care how much money one has, if not how we can serve others, there are 3 specific things:   Are building His kingdom including strong and valiant families. Are honest in your dealings with your fellowmen and using your God-given talents in their service;  and if you are filling your life with good works, that positively impact your community and world. This lesson is very interesting, it made me to help me awaken those memories or dreams that I had when I was a child, and now I’m 30 years old and I see how all the points are connected. With this course I am learning to become a true entrepreneur, in the right way.
