ENTREPRENEURIAL JOURNAL - LESSON 3
This lesson helps me to be able to apply the
virtue of integrity, no matter the circumstance, place or time.
Money is not bad, the bad thing is being able
to love money above all things. Our heavenly father does not care how much
money one has, if not how we can serve others, there are 3 specific things:
-
Are building His kingdom including strong and valiant families.
- Are
honest in your dealings with your fellowmen and using your God-given
talents in their service;
- and if you are filling your life with good works, that positively impact your community and world.
I always want to keep myself in Grade
A, I pray to my heavenly father never to get away from the iron bar.
When I was 26 years old, I was part of a
company, as a founding partner. This company was engaged in sales of internet,
telephones and cable channels. We start selling well, and doing the right
things, then we start billing each month between 50,000 to 70,000 soles. We
started to earn money, and my other partners started to fall into pride and
accept other people who invested, to be able to grow in other cities, and there
was a particular person who was interested in wanting to invest more and more.
This person proposed to us that he would invest
300,000 soles, but that at the end of the year, we would only return 270,000
soles, which 30,0000 he would give us for free. It seemed very strange to me,
because normally when someone invests money, they earn their interest, they do
not give away their money, the same is with banks, an interest is paid for the
money lent.
The other partners accepted this person, and I
took the decision to retire from the company and no longer work with them.
People with these, in my country always look
for companies that bill well, in order to be able to launder money with these
companies, dirty money.
I am happy to have retired from the company, my
conscience is calm.
I really liked the speech Frank Levinson's Top
10 Things You Must Have to Start a Business. These include:
1) Spending everything on a good team and
equipment.
2) Letting people know the company is in
business.
3) Raising limited capital.
4) Taking stock of a company and determining
its needs.
5) Being open to opportunities.
6) Having a supportive family.
7) Targeting mass markets, not just niche
markets.
8) Having confidence in new ideas.
9) Acquiring and selling to real customers.
10) Choosing a great partner.
fundamental ideas to be able to grow and be
careful with the future, as long as we keep our covenamt always clean.
